Banquet centres and wedding venues sell one thing the AV industry rarely designs for: turnaround. A hall hosts a ceremony at four in the afternoon and a banquet at six, a conference the next morning, then a wedding fair on the weekend. The AV system has to change personality in minutes, be operated by banquet captains rather than engineers, and absorb guest devices - a DJ rig, a couple's laptop, a photographer's feed - without a service call. Venues that get this right sell the room twice as hard.

The video spine works best as one canvas per hall driven by a seamless hybrid matrix with multiview processing. Switching between ceremony graphics, highlight reels and live camera happens without a black frame, which matters exactly during the montage moment everyone is watching. HDBaseT extenders carry the runs to ceiling projectors and LED wall processors over a single category cable each, and a hybrid HDMI matrix at the front keeps DJ consoles and guest laptops on dedicated inputs with locked EDID, so a guest device can never renegotiate the hall's canvas.

Audio follows the room, not the rack. Dante zoned audio separates ceremony speech, dinner background and dance levels as independent zones with the DJ input on its own pair of channels, while paging to the lobby and pre-function areas rides the same network with a defined priority so announcements always win. The operations layer is what makes it venue-grade: one named preset per event type, recalled from a wall panel or a phone; RF channel plans for wireless microphones coordinated across halls; and remote monitoring so the house technician sees a failed amplifier before the captain does, with a labelled spare already patched.
