Integrated Systems Europe has confirmed ISE 2027 for 2 to 5 February at Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, under the banner When Worlds Unite, and the numbers attached to the announcement are the most useful part for anyone planning a 2027 roadmap. Exhibition floor space is already seven percent larger than ISE 2026, with booths added at the East Access and a new outdoor structure at the South Access, spread across eight halls and seven technology zones. AVIXA's Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis values the global pro AV market at more than 330 billion dollars in 2025 and forecasts it above 400 billion by 2030.
The zone layout reads like a map of where the money is going. Unified communications and education technology share Halls 1 and 2 with residential and smart buildings, which is a statement in itself: the same integrator is increasingly expected to serve a meeting room, a classroom and a building management system. Broadcast AV and digital signage share Hall 4. Multi-technology occupies Halls 3, 5 and 8.1, lighting and staging take Halls 6 and 8.1, and audio fills Halls 7, 8.0 and 8.1. The addition that best captures the moment is a new ISE Broadcast Enterprise Studio powered by AVIXA TV, running production cameras, broadcast microphones, studio lighting, switching, distribution and live streaming to produce podcasts and sit-down interviews on the show floor. Enterprise broadcast is being treated as a legitimate AV application, not a broadcast oddity.
The content programme points the same way. Megatrends sessions have doubled in size and are organised around six themes: AI, robotics and machine learning, smart spaces, sustainability, TradeScape and cybersecurity. Three half-day summits cover digital signage, control rooms and cybersecurity, and the CEDIA Smart Home Technology Conference runs alongside the residential zone. For a manufacturer, the takeaway is that a product is now evaluated against a cybersecurity questionnaire and a sustainability claim as reliably as against a specification sheet. For an integrator, the takeaway is that the certification and training tracks are where the differentiation sits, because the hardware is increasingly capable and increasingly similar.
What does a 400 billion dollar market actually change at the rack level? Volume. When AV is a line item in construction and IT budgets rather than a special purchase, buyers expect standard interfaces, predictable lead times and documentation that a facilities team can read. That favours suppliers who can ship a coherent range rather than a single clever box. Amtune's portfolio is built for that expectation: HDMI and DVI seamless hybrid matrices, seamless matrix and multi-view processor platforms, AV switches, HDBaseT and AV extenders, Dante and AES67 audio interfaces and HiFi DAC and preamp units, all manufactured under an ISO 9001 quality system and tested to CE, FCC and RoHS.
