The Asian Pro AV calendar has a new reference point. InfoComm India 2026, held in Mumbai in September, reported its largest footprint to date — exhibition space roughly 17 per cent larger than the 2025 edition — with more than 300 exhibiting brands, over 14,000 industry professionals and upwards of 130 product launches, including several Asia-first debuts. AVIXA’s Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis places India as the fastest-growing Pro AV market in Asia Pacific, with the national market on a trajectory towards roughly USD 14 billion by 2030, against a global Pro AV market projected to grow from about USD 332 billion in 2025 to USD 402 billion by 2030. The show will return to the Jio World Convention Centre from 8 to 10 September 2027.
The content of the show floor was as informative as its size. Embedded AI appeared in more than one product in ten, running live rather than in slideware — AI-assisted cameras, intelligent audio processing and predictive AV management among them — and the Summit programme expanded to 43 sessions with 102 speakers, drawing session attendance up by roughly a quarter year on year. AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I and ANP certification exams were offered on site for the first time. Read together, the signal is that buyers in the region are no longer shopping for boxes: they are procuring integrated experiences across smart classrooms, hybrid workplaces, immersive venues and connected public spaces, and they expect the people specifying those systems to hold recognised credentials.
For distributors and integrators the practical consequence is that growth is real but uneven, and it rewards different capabilities than the last cycle did. Convergence means more of a project is network design, control programming, software configuration and service, and less of it is simply hardware margin. That shift also argues against treating any region as a single market. Europe is a useful counter-example: Midwich’s September interim results reported first-half revenue of GBP 640.3 million, up 3.2 per cent, with particularly strong unified communications sales in the UK and US, yet management described conditions in Germany as challenging. Where demand is broadening, the winners are typically the suppliers who can ship a coherent product range from one source, document their protocols so third-party control systems integrate cleanly, and support installers with application engineering rather than a catalogue.
Amtune’s portfolio is built for exactly that kind of partner. The range covers the core building blocks of a mixed AV project — HDMI and DVI seamless hybrid matrices from 8x8 to 32x32, HD video multi-viewers and a seamless hybrid matrix multiview processor for multi-window control rooms, Dante and AES67 networked audio modules, AV-over-IP codecs and decoders, HDBaseT extenders, converters and switches, plus HiFi DAC preamps with Dolby decoding for premium spaces. Every unit is manufactured under an ISO 9001 quality system and tested to CE, FCC and RoHS standards, and OEM and ODM programmes are available for partners building regional or private-label lines.
